Revolution?

They say there is never going to be a revolution in Denmark because it rains. We talk a lot about changing this and that. But when it comes down to it… nobody wants to get wet.
Unfortunately this has once again been proven to be true.

In the past few days the crisis about the 12 drawings of Muhammed i Jyllands Posten has run amok. Danish good are impossible to sell over most of the Middle East. People are about to loose their jobs. So it rains a little… and immediately we give in.
Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are cornerstones in our democratic society. Or so they say. At least until the Muslim mob decide that they don’t like our freedom. Then we falter. We apologize again and again in various forms to satisfy their twisted medieval religious fanatisism. We almost bend over backwards and dance to their ignorant fascist tunes. When is it going to end?

Things might not have been so bad if it wasn’t for a small group of selfproclaimed imams and other muslim media whores who apparently would do anything to get their own faces on various arabic news networks. The latest story they told more than 200 million arabic viewers was, that there is going to be a “public burning of the Koran in Copenhagen” this saturday.
Of course there is not going to be any such event. But apparently various arabic news networks don’t bother to check the validity of these claims and so now 200 million muslims are outraged based on a lie. So more flags are burned and bomb threats are made to Jyllands Posten.
Hey I know… lets apologize some more!

Hell NO!

Freedom of speech and freedom of the press ARE cornerstones of our society. That means we draw and print whatever we like. If you muslims don’t like… tough damn luck! Get over it! Deal with it and the shut the hell up with your ridiculous demands.
Who the hell are you to think you can demand anything in Denmark? Since you are clearly not prime examples of civilized democratic societies yourselves who the hell are you to tell us how to run our country? If your feeling are hurt go see Dr. Phil – I don’t care.

Fortunately some of our American Friends have started a “Buy Danish” campaign. This is great in two ways. First of all it could help to minimize the business lost in the Middle East. Second it shows us that we do not stand alone against these islamofascists. Of course that was before we blew it. Now the Americans once again stand alone. Apparently they are the only ones who have the guts and the spines to actually do something when religious fanatics and other caveman cultures threaten everything they stand for.

My mom always says: “Be proud you are Danish”. In times like these thats pretty hard. Look at what we’ve become. A country of spineless wankers scared to death because we’ve hurt someones feelings and now they won’t buy our cheese. We used to be feared vikings for Gods sake. Stand up straight and fight for what are our rights and priviledges according to OUR laws. And if somebody doesn’t like our free and democratic way of life… the piss off back under the stone from where you came. The viking has spoken

UPDATE February 1st 2006.
Now newspapers all across Europe are printing the (in)famous drawings. French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch and Icelandic newspapers are all joining the campaign for freedom of the press. The French newspaper even put their own cartoon on the front page. This is great! What are they going to do now? Boycott all of Europe?
